Men?s Breakfast
All men are invited to meet for conversation and breakfast in Epworth Hall downstairs at 7:30 AM
on Tuesday, February 10. Please come and bring a friend.

Wesley Prayer Group
Our prayer group meets each Wednesday at noon for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. The group prays about concerns that have been shared with the congregation as well as ongoing concerns. No one is asked to pray out loud who doesn?t wish to do so, and leadership is provided each week by Mary Allen Ingram, Renita Sheesley Banks, or Elizabeth Foss. You?re welcome to bring your lunch, and all who wish to participate are welcome.

New Outreach Ministry at Wesley Memorial
Sundays 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In order to enhance Wesley?s already active ministries of congregational care, a new weekly support ministry for caregivers, will be held Sundays at 4:30 p.m. in the Aldersgate Room. If you are currently providing care for a spouse, parent, sibling or friend, this group will allow you to meet regularly with others who can share the experiences, challenges, wisdom and rewards of care giving. This group is also an opportunity for ministry for those of us who do not share the responsibility of care giving, but offer aid and support for those who do. We hope to create a circle of respite care providers who can assist periodically so that the caregivers can participate in activities beyond the home or care facility. If you feel called to this fellowship of support and service, or if you have suggestions or comments, please speak with Rocky or Elizabeth.

?Restless Hearts: Where Do I Go Now, God?" is an overnight event March 27-28, 2009, for all young adults (18-30) interested in discerning how God might use their lives for good, not simply those interested in ordained or other forms of full-time service in the church. Registration is $50.00 but the entire amount will be refunded to participants who stay for the entire event. Keynote speakers are Alex Joyner and Rhonda VanDyke Colby; music and worship will be coordinated by Shenandoah University's DeLyn Celec; and a variety of small groups will provide time for reflection and focus on more specific topics. Activities (meals, large and small groups, and worship) will be at Williamsburg UMC, with accommodations at Williamsburg Hospitality House (a brief walk across W&M's campus to the church). Information and the registration form are now posted on the Conference website; simply go to www.vaumc.org, click on the Events tab at the top, and find the March 27-28 "Restless Hearts" event..
